Questions

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Every page keeps its exact address, title and description, and old WordPress addresses redirect to the right page. Pages usually load faster afterwards, which Google likes.

How long does it take?

Most previews are ready in ten to thirty minutes. Going live takes one change where your domain lives, and visitors see the new site within the hour.

What happens to my email?

Nothing. The switch only changes where your website lives. Your email records stay exactly as they are.

What if I do not like the preview?

Then you walk away and it costs you nothing. The preview deletes itself after thirty days and your real site was never touched.

Does it work for online stores or member logins?

Not yet. Unpress is for business sites, blogs and portfolios. Shopping carts, checkouts and member areas do not come across as working features, and your preview shows you exactly what did.

My site has Cloudflare, Wordfence or SiteGround security. Will that stop it?

Sometimes it turns our copier away. When it does, you install our free plugin and it sends your site from your own browser, which your security already trusts. Two minutes, and you can delete it afterwards.

Can I keep my own hosting?

Yes. Download the finished site as one file and upload it to any hosting with PHP. It needs nothing from us to run, and the sign-in for its editor is written inside.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in one click. Your site is yours: download it before you go and it keeps running wherever you put it.
